Major Activities

• Communicates in person and through correspondence with sometimes high-level contacts inside and outside the company including vendors.
• Schedules and coordinates meetings, conference calls, and other events; informs attendees/participants of function dates and times, reserves meeting space and catering services when needed.
• Composes correspondence, memos, Excel Spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations.
• Works closely with other department staff to coordinate streamlining of processes and documentation; recommends changes to improve efficiencies.
• Coordinates domestic and international air travel, ground transportation, and hotel accommodations.
• Establishes, develops, and maintains filing systems.
• Maintains and orders office supplies and answers phones.
• Handles highly confidential and sensitive information.
• Works on special projects and needed.

Minimum Education

• High School diploma or equivalent; additional related training/certification is a plus

Minimum Special Certifications or Technical Skills

• Requires excellent computer skills; must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Other

• Interpersonal skills are essential with a high degree of sensitivity for confidentiality; must be strong in both oral and written communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and able to multi-task
• Strong organizational skills and good customer service skills
• Ability to prioritize and organize diversified workload

Preferred Special Certifications or Technical Skills

• Experience in Oracle applications a plus

Preferred Education

• Some college preferred

Preferred Type of Experience the Job Requires

• 2-3 years of prior experience working in an office environment, preferably in retail
