Major Activities
- Communicates in person and through correspondence with sometimes high-level contacts inside and outside the company including vendors.
- Schedules and coordinates meetings, conference calls, and other events; informs attendees/participants of function dates and times, reserves meeting space and catering services when needed.
- Composes correspondence, memos, Excel Spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations.
- Works closely with other department staff to coordinate streamlining of processes and documentation; recommends changes to improve efficiencies.
- Coordinates domestic and international air travel, ground transportation, and hotel accommodations.
- Establishes, develops, and maintains filing systems.
- Maintains and orders office supplies and answers phones.
- Handles highly confidential and sensitive information.
- Works on special projects and needed.
Minimum Education
- High School diploma or equivalent; additional related training/certification is a plus
Minimum Special Certifications or Technical Skills
- Requires excellent computer skills; must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Other
- Interpersonal skills are essential with a high degree of sensitivity for confidentiality; must be strong in both oral and written communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and able to multi-task
- Strong organizational skills and good customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize and organize diversified workload
Preferred Special Certifications or Technical Skills
- Experience in Oracle applications a plus
Preferred Education
- Some college preferred
Preferred Type of Experience the Job Requires
- 2-3 years of prior experience working in an office environment, preferably in retail
