This is a seconded position, meaning the selected candidate will be employed by ITAC but work full-time on assignment with one of our clients. While day-to-day responsibilities will be managed on-site with the client, ITAC provides ongoing support, resources, and benefits as your employer. Objective
We are seeking a Workforce Management Consultant to support a large-scale Workforce Management (WFM) system implementation and optimization initiative through the end of 2027. This role will serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and project teams, ensuring workforce management requirements are identified, documented, tested, and successfully deployed. The ideal candidate will have strong consulting, business analysis, and workforce management experience, with the ability to support system implementation, end-user training, process improvement, and workforce planning activities. Responsibilities will include requirements gathering, user acceptance testing (UAT), training development and delivery, budget consolidation, and ongoing workforce planning support.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Workforce Management (WFM) processes and system functionality.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, and vendors to ensure requirements are accurately translated into system solutions.
- Support the planning, execution, and documentation of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for the WFM system.
- Identify, track, and assist in resolving testing issues and system enhancement opportunities.
- Develop and deliver training materials and end-user training programs related to WFM system functionality and processes.
- Provide workforce management consulting and subject matter expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
- Consolidate and analyze budget data from multiple sources into a centralized reporting structure to support workforce planning and decision-making.
- Assist with workforce planning initiatives, including support for interview panel coordination and hiring process activities for hourly positions.
- Monitor project milestones and deliverables, providing status updates and recommendations to stakeholders as needed.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder discussions to support project objectives and organizational readiness.
Requirements
- 10+ years of directly related experience required
- Experience supporting Workforce Management (WFM), Human Capital Management (HCM), scheduling, timekeeping, or related business systems.
- Proven experience gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into effective solutions.
- Experience coordinating and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
- Ability to develop and deliver end-user training and support organizational change initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting Workforce Management system implementations, upgrades, or optimization projects.
- Background in business process improvement, workforce planning, or organizational effectiveness.
- Experience developing reporting tools, budget consolidation models, or workforce analytics dashboards.
- Familiarity with manufacturing, consumer products, or large corporate environments.
- Previous consulting experience supporting HR, operations, or workforce-related initiatives.
- Experience facilitating training sessions, workshops, or stakeholder engagement activities.

The typical base salary range for this position is between $140,000-$190,000.
