Summary:
The fully remote Workday Report Writer position reports to the Director of Institutional Research, Planning & Assessment. This position will provide information, reporting, data management, and decision support to the Office of Institutional Research, Planning & Assessment, to the University community, and to external constituents and stakeholders.Job Description:
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Under limited supervision, extract, compile, analyze, and report institutional data from Workday on students, courses, personnel, finance, and other university areas as requested.
- Design, develop, and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and reporting tools (standard, custom, composite, and matrix) while adhering to business requirements and best practices.
- Analyze data and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Problem solving and critical thinking ability.
- Adaptable to shifting priorities.
- Able to collaborate with internal customers and fellow analysts working both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server & Excel.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A) from an accredited four-year college or university.
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Workday Report Writer, including Workday Student, Workday HCM and Workday Financal Management.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in higher education, university analytics, enrollment analytics, or higher education reporting.
- Experience supporting IPEDS, accreditation, retention, graduation, faculty reporting and other higher education business processes in Workday strongly preferred.
- HCM Reporting Certification or Financials Reporting Certification preferred.
