Responsibilities:

• Set up Japan institutional strategy by three segments (financial institution, public pension, private pension) and focus product which will be turned into business in 1-2 years . Define 1-2 focus products in equity, fixed income, public and private credit.
• Tracking the pipeline status regularly as it proceeds and support to materialize pipelines into the real business.  
• Must be a self-starter and a good communicator who can co-work with sales associates, business development, product development, operations & reporting and compliance teams.
• Presents Japanese institutional market product trend, regulation changes, any impact matters to institutional market to AB senior management to obtain the appropriate support from carious internal functions.
• Align with AB global financial goals and demonstrate AB as respected global asset management company.

Job Qualifications

• Around 10 years of experience in investment management and/or sales experience in the financial services industry
• Strong knowledge of financial and capital markets (MBA/CMA/CFA is preferable)
• Result driven with targeted closing timing.        
• Obtain interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships both internally and externally
• High ethical standard/integrity
• Better to have team management experience in the past career
• English communication skills
