Purpose:

• Establish and operate programme governance, controls and reporting across strategic change and BAU initiatives.
• Provide transparent oversight of scope, schedule, cost, quality, risks, dependencies, benefits and delivery health.
• Enable accountable decision-making through clear forums, quality information, disciplined escalation and action tracking.
• Coordinate integrated planning across business, product, technology, operations, risk, finance and external partners.
• Drive consistent delivery standards, continuous improvement and executive-level communication across the portfolio.

Capability, Experience and Qualification requirements:

• Programme / PMO Leadership: 15–18 years of project, programme or portfolio delivery experience, including senior PMO leadership in complex organisations.

• Governance and Controls: Strong command of integrated plans, RAID, change control, stage gates, dependencies, benefits, assurance and governance cadence.

• Financial and Resource Management: Experience with budgets, forecasts, actuals, workforce plans, vendor costs and investment governance.

• Reporting and Insights: Ability to translate delivery data into concise executive dashboards, decision papers and clear recommendations.

• Delivery Methods and Tools: Practical experience across Agile, SAFe, Waterfall and hybrid delivery; proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Power BI and MS Project.

• Risk and Regulatory Environment: Experience operating within banking, financial services or another regulated environment is highly desirable.

• Leadership Behaviours: Strong influencing, facilitation, negotiation, coaching and escalation skills; comfortable challenging constructively and driving closure

Qualification Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
• PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, SAFe, Agile, Lean Six Sigma or equivalent certification is desirable
