Job Summar

We are looking for a Vendor Support Specialist to support application deployment activities and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors. The role is responsible for verifying deployment handoffs, managing code promotions across environments, processing deployment requests, and providing environment support to ensure smooth and controlled application releases.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Verify deployment handoffs and artifacts submitted by vendors before implementation.
• Process and manage deployment requests across SIT, UAT, and Production environments.
• Move application code, packages, and configuration files between environments following established deployment procedures.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders, development teams, QA, infrastructure teams, and vendors to ensure successful deployments.
• Manage and process various vendor support requests, including:
• User and system access requests
• Production data extraction requests
• Script execution in SIT and UAT
• Application installation in SIT and UAT
• Application implementation in SIT, UAT, and Production
• Batch job execution requests
• Restart of application components and services
• JAR file generation
• Packaging of deployment objects
• Retrieval and distribution of mapper configuration files
• Firewall whitelisting requests
• Import and export of files across SIT, UAT, and Production environments
• Ensure deployment activities comply with organizational standards, change management processes, and release schedules.
• Maintain deployment documentation, implementation records, and audit logs.
• Support issue resolution during deployment activities and coordinate with relevant teams when necessary.
• Monitor deployment activities to ensure timely completion and minimal disruption to business operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in application deployment, release management, vendor management, production support, or a related IT operations role.
• Experience supporting deployments across SIT, UAT, and Production environments.
• Familiarity with software deployment and change management processes.
• Basic understanding of application servers, batch jobs, configuration management, and deployment packaging.
• Experience working with scripts, deployment tools, or release management platforms is an advantage.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes or change management practices is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deployment activities while meeting deadlines.
• Willing to work onsite
