What to expect in the job?

  • Responsible for the daily operation of retail packing production lines and teams within the Retail Packing Hall ensuring that all KPI’s are achieved.
  • Activities include but are not limited to, machine set up and running, quality control, data input, batch paperwork completion, liaising with support teams, minimising downtime and clear communication.
  • The Trainee Supervisor will ensure that product quality is always maintained and is directly responsible for communicating the actual line requirements to the production team.
  • The Trainee Supervisor will ensure that the production plan is delivered so that our customer gets what they want, when they want it and within specification.
  • To be a role model for the reporting line team, leading by example in relation to Safety, Quality, GMP and general good work ethic.
  • This is a hands-on role where you will lead the team by working with the team.

Please note: The factory is situated in a location with limited access to public transport, so reliable private transport is recommended.

Working hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM

Requirements

What we need from you?

  • Previous experience supervising a team within a production or warehouse environment is desirable.
  • Proactively drive down costs through innovative solutions and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Exhibit strong leadership qualities at all times.
  • Maintain a heightened sense of urgency and promptness in actions.
  • Take initiative by identifying tasks that need attention without waiting for direction.
