Job Description:

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Machine Mechanic at 3M Peltor Sweden you will have the opportunity to be a part of a great team who works with high work ethics and take responsibility for keeping our molding tools in good condition and safe for our employees to handle.

 

Here, you will make an impact by:

• Performing preventive, corrective and emergency actions on our molding tools
• Making smaller adjustments
• Participating in EHS activities
• Actively participating in the day-to-day operations specifically tier process

 

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:

• Has a workshop education or a couple of years in the profession
• Basic knowledge of molding tools
• Has knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
• Can run workshop machinery such as: Milling machines, Lathes etc
• Blueprint understanding
• Is driven and able to work both independently and together with the team
• Strong attention to EHS topics and commitment to maintaining a safe, compliant workplace.
• Proficiency in Swedish is required

Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help succeed even further in this role include:

• Proactive mindset which means to be able to prevent an incident/accident or a breakdown before it occurs
• English knowledge

-       On-site based role, Day time

-       Working pattern: full-time
