The Tool Assistant is required to support the Team Leads across the service line in various tasks and be a subject matter expert on matters that are concerned with Google spreadsheets and Data Studio. This person will ensure that spreadsheets and tools are set up to help Team Leads become more efficient by reducing additional time needed to gather data or set up reporting.

The successful candidate will have duties shared as necessary between setting up spreadsheets, maintaining existing sheets, setting up and maintaining tools that will help improve the Team Leads’ workflow. This person will work on complex spreadsheet set ups, tool creations and reporting set ups.

Main responsibilities are:

• Resolve helpdesk tickets related to various tools and processes
• Set up of spreadsheet formulas and scripts for current and upcoming processes within the Quality Department as well as other projects
• Working with Google Data Studio or Power BI to allow for better and more user-friendly reporting set up
• Assistance with maintaining existing spreadsheets
• Track tasks progress using Jira and Agile Scrum methodology
• Reproduce, report and regress bug reports
• Maintain user documentation for tools
• Maintain Google Sites setup and support content creators
• Audit usage of tools to ensure compliance to policies
• Leverage AppSheet, Forms and other technologies for workflows

Requirements

• High competency using Google software (particularly Sheets and Data Studio).
• Experience with programming languages such as Google Apps Script, JavaScript or Python
• Experience with HTML
• Able to work autonomously and self-learn, ready to explore new methods
• Be open minded and proactively reach to others for their ideas and suggestions or to clarify pending tasks
• Ability to work effectively and decisively under pressure
• Highly organized with the ability to manage to priorities and deadlines
• Experience with PowerBI, Gemini and Google Cloud is nice to have
• Experience with CSS is nice to have
