Position Description:
The Department of Psychology at McGill University invites applications from outstanding researchers to fill a tenure-stream academic position in Developmental Psychology at the rank of assistant professor. Exceptional candidates of higher rank may be considered. The Department also has excellent facilities for interdisciplinary research, including through its links with related academic departments and research units in the McGill University Health Centre and the Montreal Neurological Institute.

Job Duties:
We welcome applications from researchers whose work spans developmental psychology. We are particularly interested in candidates doing work complementing the strengths of the existing core faculty, such as interpersonal functioning, affective science, language and bilingualism, memory, attention, cognitive neuroscience, cultural and ethnic-racial identity formation, and developmental psychopathology. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a productive and internationally recognized research program, obtain external funding, teach graduate- and undergraduate-level courses, supervise graduate and undergraduate research, and contribute to service.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology or a related field by the time of appointment.
