In order to support the ESADMH "Products & Human Factors" team, Airbus Helicopters is looking for a
Technical Data Product Support - S1000D Specialist (m/f/d).
Your role is to ensure the migration and standardization of Airbus Helicopters technical maintenance documentation into the S1000D international standard. You will also be responsible for defining the documentation strategy across all civil and military programs and supporting production teams to guarantee compliance with this standard.

Your location
At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities
- Support the migration of ATA/S1000D documentation for all programs into S1000D Issue 4.1, draft and maintain the S1000D Guidance Document, validate BRDPs (Business Rules Decision Points), and ensure production tool compliance
- Define the S1000D compliance strategy considering costs and documentation maturity, drive the evolution of the TDNG (Technical Data Next Generation) toolchain, and guide new programs (H140, X9) on integrating the S-Series ecosystem (S1000D, S2000M, S3000L, S5000F)
- Study and support the implementation of new data-oriented S1000D services for customers
- Represent Airbus Helicopters in international and European forums (e.g. "Bundesverband der Deutschen Luft- und Raumfahrtindustrie"), participate in customer meetings, and address contractual S1000D requirements
- Cultivate synergies within the Airbus Helicopters Group, collaborating cross-functionally with TechData stakeholders (Multi-Functional Teams, Business Units, Product Leaders, Experts, M&T)
- Deliver topic-specific training across maturity levels (Basic, Intermediate, Advanced), prepare materials, and organize S1000D "team talks
- Support the network of S1000D focal points across all programs in France, Germany, and Spain
- Contribute to the team qualification process in support of Heads of Department and Maintenance Product Leaders
Desired skills and qualifications
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Data Management, or Aviation Maintenance; alternatively: Bachelor’s degree with extensive, multi-year professional experience in Support & Service
- Several years of professional experience in a Support & Service environment
- Comprehensive mastery of core S1000D concepts (DMRL, DM codification, Business Rules, Raw Data) alongside sound general aeronautical knowledge
- Front-office experience interacting with civil and/or military customers, supported by a customer-focused, service-oriented mindset
- Knowledge of technical documentation and end-to-end authoring and publication processes is considered a plus
- Strong rigor, organizational skills, team spirit, and excellent interpersonal skills to foster ease of interaction
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to interact with diverse stakeholders and champion strategic choices
- Transnational and global mindset to build S1000D expertise with French specialists and support topics across France, Germany, and Spain
- Innovation and transformation mindset (e.g., Artificial Intelligence)
- Fluent in German, negotiation-level English, Frensh is a plus
