The Opportunity

As a Tax Japanese Business Network Associate, you will engage with clients to navigate the complexities of the global tax landscape, optimizing tax strategies and driving compliance. Within our Tax practice, you will contribute to the Entrepreneurial & Private Business (EPB) network, offering tailored solutions for growth, succession planning, and wealth management. As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagements, developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will build meaningful client connections, manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources.

In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team that supports entrepreneurial and privately-owned businesses, helping them navigate challenges and achieve their goals. You will be expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, embrace ambiguity, and use these challenges as opportunities for growth. Your contributions will be vital in driving sustainable growth and helping clients stay ahead in an ever-changing tax environment. Responsibilities

- Navigating the complexities of global tax landscapes to optimize tax strategies and minimize risks
- Supporting client engagements by preparing and filing corporate tax returns and multistate tax compliance documents
- Conducting tax research and analysis to provide accurate and up-to-date information and advice
- Assisting in international tax planning and structuring to enhance compliance and efficiency
- Collaborating with teams to draft and review tax documents, confirming regulatory compliance
- Utilizing data analytics to inform insights and recommendations for tax policy and restructuring
- Engaging in partnership tax and direct tax consulting to address client-specific needs
- Developing skills in tax auditing and accounting practices to uphold professional standards
- Participating in the preparation of tax provisions and modeling to support client financial strategies
- Building meaningful client connections and contributing to the growth of entrepreneurial and private businesses through tailored tax services

What You Must Have

- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in the following field of study: Accounting
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Demonstrated ability to communicate (i.e., read, write, speak) with business level fluency in Japanese and English
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment
- Client service associate positions are entry-level roles and job seekers have completed or are in the process of completing their final academic year of educational requirements

The salary range for this position is: $53,500 - $142,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
