You will contribute to shared services, Portal experiences, reusable components, and developer tools while gaining hands-on experience with cloud solutions. Our primary technologies are .NET and C#, React and TypeScript, and Microsoft Azure, with some exposure to Python.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build and integrate APIs, shared libraries, and React single-page applications that support multiple Ryan development teams.
  • Explore Microsoft Azure services and contribute to development, testing, or deployment workflows.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate learning, prototyping, coding, and debugging; review and validate your work with the team.
  • Write automated tests, investigate defects, and participate in code reviews to improve software quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and design to understand user needs, demonstrate progress, and incorporate feedback.
  • Document what you build so other teams can understand, adopt, and maintain it.

Education and Experience:

  • Working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related study.
  • Programming coursework or experience building software through class projects, personal projects, open-source contributions, or prior work.

  • Ability to explain your work, ask questions, respond to feedback, and collaborate with teammates.
  • Ability to organize tasks, manage ambiguity, and make progress in a fast-moving engineering team.
  • Ability to work independently on a defined task and seek guidance when needed.

Computer Skills:

Basic understanding of programming and debugging is expected. Familiarity with C#/.NET, React, TypeScript, Git, APIs, automated testing, Azure, or AI development tools is helpful. Exposure to Python is a plus.
