About this Statistical Programmer, Internship role at Fortrea

Summary of Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all Data Management activities are conducted in compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and Good Clinical Practice.
- Follow applicable departmental Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.
- Complete required trainings according to timelines.
- Generate, review and action queries on an ongoing basis to address inconsistent data identified during data review activities and ensure that proper modification / correction is made to the database.
- Work as per assigned Data Management related tasks.
- Assist with Validation EDC system and/or SAS listings against the study specifications and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), as required, according to the EDC UAT Checklist.
- Assist with the creation/ review of Data Management documents, as required, such as the Data Management Plan (DMP), Edit Check Specifications and Vendor Data Plan.
- Review reports and take actions as defined in the DMP and/ or Data Review Plan (DRP).
- Perform ongoing and final consistency checks, data listings review as defined in the DMP and DRP.
- Assist with decommissioning/archiving tasks, generating reports and distributing reports and other ad hoc tasks, as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by study and/or Line Manager.
Qualifications (Minimum Required):
- Student in relevant Studies. BS in engineering, computing, math, computer science, programming, statistics, public health or related.
- English language, both written and oral (Preferred)
- Specific skills, systems, certifications, and/or licenses necessary
- Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements.

- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to deliver consistent high quality of work.
- Ability to use computer and departmental tool.
Preferred Qualifications Include:
- Working towards Bachelors (or Masters) degree in a Life Science subject.
- Has experience delivering multiple projects in an academic setting.
- Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and internal/external colleagues.
- Embraces diverse ways of thinking through various forms collaboration and partnership.
- Additional languages, etc.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
- Office and/or homebased work environment.
- May require overtime and weekend work as required.
- Should be willing to work in flexible shifts as per business requirement.
