NXP Semiconductors développe des solutions innovantes pour les marchés de l’automobile, de l’industrie et de la mobilité durable.

Au sein de l’organisation CTO, l’équipe EMC/ESD conçoit et valide des solutions garantissant la robustesse des circuits intégrés et systèmes électroniques face aux perturbations électromagnétiques et électrostatiques.

Dans le cadre du projet collaboratif CEMASURF, mené avec plusieurs partenaires académiques et industriels, NXP développe de nouvelles méthodologies permettant de mieux comprendre les interactions entre la compatibilité électromagnétique (CEM) et la sûreté de fonctionnement des systèmes électroniques.

Le projet vise notamment à automatiser les essais, exploiter les données de mesure et appliquer les technologies d’intelligence artificielle afin d’améliorer l’efficacité des campagnes de validation.

Missions 

Description des missions

Le stagiaire participera au développement de nouvelles approches d’analyse de données CEM basées sur l’intelligence artificielle et le machine learning.

Les principales missions pourront inclure :

  • Collecter, structurer et analyser des données issues d’essais CEM automatisés.

  • Développer des outils de traitement et de visualisation des données.

  • Évaluer différentes approches de Machine Learning pour la classification ou la détection d’anomalies dans les mesures CEM.

  • Étudier la corrélation entre simulations, mesures CEM.

  • Développer des indicateurs permettant d’identifier automatiquement les risques de non-conformité ou de dysfonctionnement.

  • Participer à l’automatisation des rapports d’essais et à la valorisation des résultats.

  • Présenter régulièrement les avancées à l’équipe projet et aux partenaires du consortium.

Profil recherché

Formation : Master 2 ou dernière année d’école d’ingénieur en électronique, intelligence artificielle ou systèmes embarqués.

Connaissances souhaitées :

  • Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib).

  • Analyse de données et statistiques.

  • Machine Learning.

  • Électronique ou systèmes embarqués.

  • Des connaissances en compatibilité électromagnétique (CEM) seraient un plus.

Qualités personnelles :

  • Curiosité scientifique.

  • Esprit d’analyse et de synthèse.

  • Autonomie.

Context

Description of the Division

NXP Semiconductors develops innovative solutions for automotive, industrial, and sustainable mobility markets. Within the CTO organization, the EMC/ESD team designs and validates solutions that ensure the robustness of integrated circuits and electronic systems against electromagnetic and electrostatic disturbances.

As part of the collaborative CEMASURF project, involving industrial and academic partners, NXP is developing new methodologies to better understand the interaction between electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and functional safety in electronic systems. The project also aims to automate EMC testing, leverage measurement data, and apply Artificial Intelligence technologies to improve validation efficiency.

Responsibilities

Mission Description

The intern will contribute to the development of advanced data analysis techniques for EMC measurements using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

Main activities may include:

  • Collecting, organizing, and analyzing data generated from automated EMC test campaigns.

  • Developing data processing and visualization tools.

  • Evaluating Machine Learning approaches for classification and anomaly detection in EMC measurements.

  • Investigating correlations between simulations and EMC measurements.

  • Developing smart indicators to automatically identify potential EMC risks and failure mechanisms.

  • Contributing to test report automation and result dissemination.

  • Presenting progress and results to project stakeholders and consortium partners.

Experience and technical skills

Education level: MSc student or final-year engineering student in Electronics, Artificial Intelligence, or Embedded Systems.

Desired knowledge:

  • Python programming (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib).

  • Data analysis and statistics.

  • Machine Learning fundamentals.

  • Electronics and embedded systems knowledge.

  • EMC knowledge would be considered a plus.

Personal skills:
