CookUnity · Onsite · Toronto, Ontario, Canada

About CookUnity:

Food has lost its soul to modern convenience. And with it, it has lost the power to nourish, inspire, and connect us. So in 2018, CookUnity was founded as the first-of-its-kind platform that connects the world with the source of truly great food: chefs. Today, CookUnity delivers 50 million meals a year from the industry’s best chefs to homes all over the country. Fresh. Ready-to-eat. And crafted with the passion that nourishes body and soul.

Unwilling to stop there, CookUnity is expanding beyond delivery to become an ever-innovating marketplace focused on our singular mission: empower Chefs to nourish the world.

If that mission has you hungry in more ways than one, you’ve found the right job posting.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Sr. Product Manager, Growth to own and optimize our end-to-end acquisition experience—from first impression through checkout—by driving a strategic roadmap and rigorous experiments across landing pages, onboarding, meal selection, and checkout. This role will own key conversion and customer-quality metrics, partnering closely with Growth Marketing to turn traffic into durable business growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and evolve the product roadmap across First Impressions and Funnel, from landing pages and onboarding through meal selection and checkout
  • Analyze acquisition performance, user behavior, and drop-off points to identify opportunities that improve customer quality and funnel efficiency
  • Design and run statistically sound experiments across acquisition touchpoints and in-product experiences, balancing rapid tests with foundational investments
  • Lead Design and Engineering across First Impressions and Funnel to rapidly ship and iterate on improvements
  • Partner closely with Growth Marketing to translate channel strategy, creative, and audience insights into message-matched acquisition experiences
  • Own the acquisition customer experience (XP) calendar, ensuring experiments run by other teams do not conflict with Growth team goals or traffic needs.
  • Collaborate with CRM and Lifecycle teams to ensure early customer communication supports key friction points and opportunities to re-engage
  • Lead cross-functional squads focused on improving first-purchase conversion, acquisition quality, and early retention across every step of the journey
  • Drive clear outcome metrics and business cases across conversion, early retention, CAC, LTV, payback, and contribution economics
  • Surface insights and learnings regularly with key stakeholders and executive leadership

What Success Looks Like

  • Meaningful lift in conversion and acquisition quality from first impression through first purchase
  • Shorter time to first meal and increased NPS during trial experience
  • Faster learning through rigorous experimentation and scalable experimentation infrastructure
  • Cross-functional alignment between product, marketing, and operations around funnel priorities
  • Clear measurement and investment framework tied to conversion, retention, CAC efficiency, payback, and contribution impact

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of product management or growth-focused experience in a DTC, marketplace, or e-commerce environment, including ownership of consumer acquisition or conversion funnels
  • Strong analytical toolkit and comfort using analytics tools (Hex, Tableau, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar)
  • Proven track record designing statistically sound experiments across user journeys and translating results into product decisions
  • Strong commercial judgment and ability to prioritize across customer impact, growth, unit economics, and P&L tradeoffs
  • Empathy for customers and a passion for improving product experiences
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including direct partnership with Growth or Performance Marketing teams
  • Experience in subscription or funnel-driven businesses is a major plus

Technologies You’ll Use

  • Mixpanel, SiteSpect, and other solutions
  • Snowflake, Hex, and internal data platforms
  • Figma (with Design), Jira (with Eng), and Slack (with stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Tableau
