About the Role:

We're looking for an AI-native Senior Product Designer to help drive the design of our Sexual Health experience — one of Hims & Hers' founding and highest-engagement categories. You'll partner closely with Design, Product Management, Clinical, and Engineering to design a best-in-class telemedicine experience across the sexual health journey, from first visit through ongoing treatment.

This role sits at the intersection of two mandates: sharpening what already exists and defining what comes next. You'll spend real time in the current app — refining flows, fixing friction, and raising the visual and interaction bar on existing features — while also using AI-native design tools and workflows to prototype and pressure-test where the sexual health experience should go over the next several product generations. You should be equally comfortable shipping a polished iteration this sprint and sketching a bolder, AI-shaped version of the product for next year.

You are a user-centric designer and problem solver who is motivated, ego-free, and always looking to improve, ideate, and refine. You're comfortable being both strategic and executional, working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment, and translating dense, sensitive, and often stigmatized subject matter into design that feels simple, human, and trustworthy.

You Will:

• Elevate the Current Product Own and iterate on the sexual health app experience today — flows, journey maps, wireframes, and high-fidelity visual design across onboarding, diagnosis intake, treatment selection, refills, and check-ins. Identify friction, inconsistency, and drop-off in the existing product and design measurable improvements. Lead large initiatives or multiple concurrent projects with autonomy.

• Design with AI, Natively Bring an AI-native workflow to your craft — using AI tools for research synthesis, rapid concept generation, prototyping, and content/copy exploration — to move faster from insight to tested concept. Explore how AI-powered features (personalization, triage, guided decision-making, ongoing care support) could become part of the sexual health product itself, not just part of how you design it.

• Build Toward the Future App Translate where sexual health care is headed into concrete product direction. Partner with Product and Clinical to define a longer-term vision for the category, and design the connective tissue between today's app and that future state — so every current iteration is also a step toward it.

• Champion the User Deeply understand the needs, anxieties, and behaviors of people seeking sexual health care — a category where trust, discretion, and empathy are as important as usability. Participate in customer research, testing, and iteration to ensure the product isn't just easy to use, but reduces stigma and builds confidence at every step.

• Collaborate and Communicate Partner with Design, Product Managers, Research, Clinical, and Engineering to navigate complex, sensitive problems and drive projects from start to finish. Develop deep product and category expertise, become a trusted partner to stakeholders, and communicate decisions and process with clarity and empathy.

You Have:

• 5+ years in a UX or Product Design role, leading design alongside cross-functional partners in Product, Engineering, and Research

• Hands-on experience designing with AI tools as part of your day-to-day workflow (research, ideation, prototyping, or content generation), or strong enthusiasm and aptitude for adopting one

• A holistic approach to design, from category-level strategy down to pixel-level detail

• Comfort designing for sensitive, high-stigma subject matter with empathy and discretion

• A self-starter who is solution-oriented and comfortable defining, scoping, and designing for new opportunities with or without input from others

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present decisions and process clearly and confidently

• Enthusiasm for growth and feedback, and the ability to work well with designers of all levels

• Adaptability and excitement for working in a fast-paced environment

• Solid visual craft with an eye for detail

• Expert proficiency in Figma

Nice to Have:

• Previous experience building products 0-to-1 in a startup

• You have a passion for motion design, specifically as it relates to interaction

• Previous experience in telehealth, pharma, or healthcare
