Your Impact

The Senior Manager, Fulfillment Operations leads the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of Lowe’s Pro Supply outbound fulfillment operations. This role will focus on Outbound — Delivery & Fulfillment. The Senior Manager drives safe, reliable, customer-focused delivery performance across fleet and driver operations, transportation processes, third-party logistics partnerships, routing, and fulfillment systems.  

Working across Branch Operations, Pro Sales, Supply Chain, Transportation, Technology, Finance, Stores, and external partners, this leader translates business priorities into scalable operating processes, performance standards, and field-ready solutions for Lowe's Pro Supply (LPS).

What You Will Do

  • Outbound Fulfillment Strategy and Execution 

    * Lead the operational strategy and roadmap for the outbound delivery and fulfillment pillar, aligning branch execution to customer needs, business priorities, and growth goals. 
    * Establish and continuously improve standardized processes for delivery drivers and fleet operations, transportation workflows, and branch fulfillment execution.  
    * Lead initiatives that improve delivery capacity, service reliability, customer experience, and cost effectiveness across the branch network. 
    * Partner with Branch General Managers and field leaders to identify operational barriers, prioritize improvements, and implement sustainable solutions. 
    * Provide operational leadership during launches, pilots, business changes, and high-impact fulfillment issues. 

    Transportation, Fleet, and Partner Management 

    * Oversee transportation processes and relationships that support dependable, scalable outbound fulfillment.  
    * Build and manage collaborative operating rhythms with third-party logistics providers and Seamless partners, including service expectations, issue resolution, performance reviews, and continuous-improvement plans.  
    * Drive efficient fleet utilization and support strategies that improve driver effectiveness, route execution, and branch delivery readiness. 
    * Ensure partners and internal teams operate with clear roles, escalation paths, and accountability for customer commitments. 

    Systems, Routing, and Performance Management 

    * Lead improvements to EDP and routing processes to optimize delivery execution, route efficiency, and capacity utilization.  
    * Partner with Technology, Analytics, and Operations teams to define requirements, test enhancements, and enable adoption of systems that support outbound fulfillment. 
    * Establish and monitor key performance indicators, including on-time delivery, routing efficiency, delivery exceptions, cost, productivity, and customer-impact measures. 
    * Own the reporting cadence for on-time delivery performance and use insights to identify root causes, remove barriers, and improve results.  
    * Lead the ShipFX process and related fulfillment capabilities to ensure consistent operational execution.  

    Process Improvement and Operational Governance 

    * Lead NPI and liquidation processes that impact outbound fulfillment, ensuring effective cross-functional planning, readiness, and execution.  
    * Develop standards, playbooks, communications, and training that enable branches and field teams to execute consistently. 
    * Use Lean, continuous-improvement, and problem-solving methods to reduce waste, simplify work, improve quality, and strengthen accountability. 
    * Manage payroll tools and reporting that support appropriate labor planning and operational visibility.  
    * Create executive-ready updates that communicate performance, risks, decisions, and improvement opportunities. 

    Leadership and Collaboration 

    * Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of operations Analysts professionals while fostering a culture of safety, ownership, inclusion, and customer focus. 
    * Build strong partnerships across Branch Operations, Pro Sales, Supply Chain, Transportation, Technology, Finance, HR, Stores, and external providers. 
    * Engage communications partners early in major initiatives to create clear, actionable messages for branch and field audiences.  
    * Influence senior leaders through data-driven recommendations, clear tradeoffs, and practical execution plans.

* Improvement in on-time delivery, delivery quality, and customer experience. 
* Increased routing efficiency, fleet utilization, and delivery capacity. 
* Reduced fulfillment exceptions, avoidable delivery costs, and process variation. 
* Strong adoption of standardized outbound processes, systems, and operating routines. 
* Effective third-party logistics performance and partner accountability. 
* Delivery of roadmap commitments, continuous-improvement results, and sustainable branch execution. 


Minimum Qualifications

  • * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. 
    * 8+ years of progressive operations, fulfillment, transportation, logistics, supply chain, retail, or field operations experience. 
    * 3+ years of people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and talent development. 
    * Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional operational initiatives from strategy through implementation. 
    * Experience with delivery operations, transportation management, fleet operations, third-party logistics, routing, or fulfillment systems. 
    * Strong analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to interpret operational metrics and convert insights into action. 
    * Proven ability to influence without direct authority and build alignment among diverse stakeholders. 
    * Excellent written, verbal, and executive communication skills. 
    * Ability to travel as business needs require- approximately 25%.


Preferred Skills/Education

  • * Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field. 
    * Experience in a multi-site retail, wholesale, distribution, or branch-based operating environment. 

    * Experience with last-mile delivery, B2B fulfillment, transportation management systems, or warehouse management systems. 
    * Lean, Six Sigma, project management, or continuous-improvement certification. 
    * Experience managing third-party logistics providers, carrier relationships, or fleet programs. 
    * Familiarity with Lowe’s Pro Supply, branch operations, Pro customer fulfillment, and associated delivery systems.
