Our Early Intervention program empowers parents and young children through collaborative, research-based strategies that foster growth in all areas of development.
We are seeking a Speech Language Therapist to join our Early Intervention team, working with children ages 0 to 3 years old and their families. In this role, you’ll serve as the in-house specialist in communication and language development, helping families understand their child’s progress while equipping them with strategies to support ongoing growth. Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Requirements & Responsibilities:
Master’s Degree in Speech Language PathologyMust have current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of UtahCredentialing from the State of Utah as an Early Intervention Specialist-2 required within six months of hirePass a TB test and have an acceptable driving recordUse of a personal vehicle with continuous automobile insurance that meets state minimum requirementsHelp develop Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) that address parent-identified prioritiesEducate parents on their child’s developmental status and equip them with strategies to support progressFacilitate the parent-child relationship in ways that match individual learning styles and needsImplement individual and group activities at home visits and in the center to help families achieve their child’s developmental goalsConduct ongoing assessments in all areas of development or within specialty areas as neededCollaborate with a transdisciplinary team to ensure children receive the most effective careMaintain accurate records, schedules, and tracking sheetsAttend Child Study meetings, IFSP reviews, and team consultations to support family and child needsSpeech Language Therapist Benefits & Schedule:
