For our SDV and CoreRide platforms Product Line (PL SCP), we are seeking a Solution Train Engineer for the delivery of our system solutions to customers. 

PL SCP  develops complete system solutions for zonal and central compute architectures. These solutions combine MCUs and MPUs from NXP Automotive Product Lines with the analog components required and software to manage an end-to-end system play. 

The objective is to ease the adoption of NXP technology by our customers, helping them to transition faster to SDV. 

In this position, the STE SolDel will be responsible to animate a cross functional team and to coordinate worldwide customers’ teams from multiple product lines and FAE’s locally present in the region to provide best in class level 2 support to CoreRide Customers.  

This role will serve as a key interface for the sales organization (FAE’s) for system business opportunities. The STE in charge of the solution delivery will have to work very closely with the R&D team in charge of CoreRide development as well as with product managers when roadmap adaptation of change requests are required. 

Your Responsibilities:  

  • Provide worldwide system support level 2 to customers, to marketing & sales teams and to regions (FAE’s)  

  • Animate a cross functional team to deliver CoreRide adaptations requested by customers 

  • Coordinate and align with the different product lines included in the system offering to execute on customer requests  

  • Support Marketing and sales teams during design win phase through implementation of proof of concepts that value NXP system and components offerings 

  • Organize trainings for customers and local support teams, support logistics (distribution, update, maintenance) in terms of CoreRide reference system hardware delivery 

Your Profile: 

  • Master of Science in Software, Systems or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field 

  • Proven experience as Solution or Release Train Engineer (STE, RTE)  

  • Proven record in coordinating larger development teams towards delivery of time critical market solutions, preferably in automotive electronics or another fast-paced, highly regulated industry 

  • Knowledgeable in semiconductor (SoC), Agile SAFE, software integration, CI/CT/CD, power and performance optimization 

  • Strong soft skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional and multi cultural teams  

  • Excellent communication skills (reporting and dashboarding) 

  • Capacity to structure customer feedbacks to improve Product Requirement  and definition  

  • Experience with planning and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, … 

  • Professional English speaking & writing 

  • Frequent travel to be expected 

 

Location : France (Toulouse, Valbonne) or Germany (Munich)
