The Senior Solution Architect for US Targeting, Recommendation, Optimization & Measurement (TROM) provides technical leadership for data, analytics, and technology capabilities that enable more effective targeting, personalized recommendations, optimization, and measurement across the US organization. 

As technical  Architect focuses on designing business-driven, standards-based, and future-ready solutions within a complex, multiple solution, or product context. In this role, you will design solutions that meet product requirements, business priorities, and enterprise standards while managing non-functional requirements (NFR) and fitness functions. You will lead others to solve complex problems, maintain the vision and roadmap for multiple solutions, provide technical oversight to product teams, and evaluate new technologies to continuously improve existing solutions and manage technical debt.

Description of the area

Job Responsibilities

• Scope: Designs solutions that meet product requirements, business priorities, and enterprise standards.. Documents and evolves the architecture throughout the product life cycle and aligns with the architecture community for governance. Work with Cross functional business stakeholders to understand requirements, propose solutions, and address technical concerns
• Lead complex architecture discussions — designing scalable, production-grade solutions spanning data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics
• Accountability/Problem Solving: Leads others to solve complex problems; uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions. Maintains the vision, roadmap, and current landscape for multiple solutions. Assesses and consults on the impacts and dependencies of initiatives on capabilities, risk, and the application landscape. Creates Conceptual & Logical Data Models, Taxonomies, Ontologies, and Integration pathways for the product. Defines and drives reference architectures, patterns, NFRs, and fitness functions, ensuring Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) are recorded and published for multiple solutions or the product. Drives external technology trends and assesses feasibility, including vendor assessments.
• Provide technical leadership across data pipelines, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and analytical/ML solutions to the Engineering team.
• Guide engineering teams on architecture, coding standards, testing, CI/CD, monitoring, security, and operational readiness.
• Stakeholder Management: Communicates difficult concepts clearly and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view. Drives information sharing across the complete product.
• Impact/Strategy: Develops and maintains the product's technology roadmap. Provides technical oversight, guidance, and consultation on specific technologies for product teams. Improves existing solutions, manages technical debt, and researches, evaluates, pilots, and drives the adoption of new technologies. Identifies opportunities to enhance value and business processes within a Complex or Multiple Solution or Product Context.
• Complexity / (Product Size): Operates within a Complex or Multiple Solution or Product Context.
• Business / Technical ability: Applies in-depth and expert-level knowledge in multiple technology areas. Proactively contributes to Architecture Practices development and mentoring.

Qualifications

Education / Experience

• Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in data management and Analytics
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong experience in Architecture best practise, software engineering, data engineering, or enterprise technology delivery.
• Demonstrated experience designing business-driven, standards-based, future-ready solutions within a complex or multiple solution/product context.
• Experience maintaining the vision, roadmap, and current landscape for multiple solutions, and assessing the impacts of initiatives on capabilities, risk, and application landscapes.
• Proven track record of proactively contributing to architecture practices development and mentoring others.

Technical Skills

• Experience with AWS cloud services like Lambda, EC2, EMR, Redshift, Glue, S3, Athena, IAM, RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB etc.
• Experience in AWS GLUE ETL tool and having good knowledge on any of the ETL tools
• Strong technical expose to AWS data and Analytics services particularly Lambda, Step functions, EMR, Athena, Glue, Data-Pipelines
• Strong knowledge of CS fundamentals, system design, REST APIs, databases, data engineering, distributed systems, and cloud architecture.
• Experience with SQL, data pipelines, ETL/ELT, APIs, and large-scale data processing.
• Experience with modern engineering practices including Git, automated testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and production support.
• Experience working with data science/ML solutions/Agentic AI and productionizing models is preferred.
• Proficiency in creating Conceptual & Logical Data Models, Taxonomies, Ontologies, and Integration pathways for products.
• Ability to define and drive reference architectures, patterns, NFRs, and fitness functions.
• Strong capability to drive external technology trends and assess feasibility for multiple solutions, including conducting vendor assessments.
• Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies in the healthcare and life sciences space
• Experience in Commercial Pharma lifescience domain - 
  • Experience in Customer Engagement, Marketing, Forecasting
  • Payer/PBMs, DRG lives, MMIT Access positions, CareGaps, Campaign data 
  • IQVIA Sales, 867 Sales, 340B ,and other discounts programs etc.
