  • Build robust web application automation using Playwright with Python, following modern automation architecture and engineering practices.
  • Develop reusable automation libraries, utilities, fixtures, test-data components, and framework capabilities that can be leveraged across applications and teams.
  • Develop automated tests covering UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end workflows.
  • Translate product requirements, test cases and acceptance criteria into reliable and maintainable automated test scenarios.
  • Design automation solutions using appropriate framework architecture and design patterns such as Page Object Model (POM) and other reusable component-based approaches.
  • Develop and maintain API automation for REST-based services, including request/response validation, authentication, data validation, and integration workflows.
  • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster feedback to development teams.
  • Analyze automation execution results, troubleshoot failures and flaky tests, perform root-cause analysis, and continuously improve framework reliability.
  • Participate in automation code reviews and ensure adherence to Python coding standards, automation design principles, and software engineering best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, execution speed, framework scalability, maintainability, and overall automation effectiveness.
  • Evaluate and apply AI-assisted and agentic engineering approaches for areas such as test generation, automation code development, test maintenance, failure analysis, debugging, and engineering productivity.
  • Build reusable prompts, workflows, agents, skills, or automation utilities where AI can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of quality engineering activities.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, quality engineers, DevOps engineers, and other cross-functional teams to drive quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Contribute to automation architecture, technical standards, reusable accelerators, engineering practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other automation engineers based on experience and role expectations.

Required Qualifications
