Requirements

An intermediate software engineer is expected to independently be able to translate business requirements into production ready code and supporting the planning process. Intermediate engineers must be able to assist junior developers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Feature Development & Maintenance: Building new application features while optimizing and maintaining existing codebases.
• Code Quality & Reviews: Enforcing industry standards by writing clean, efficient code and reviewing peers' pull requests to maintain high-quality deliverables. Ensures services are monitored adequately.
• Architecture & Design: Participating in the research, system design, and implementation of architectural decisions into production code.
• Troubleshooting: Independently diagnosing system bugs, analyzing technical limitations, and deploying effective fixes. Participates in on-call rotation for production issues.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Interacting with product managers, QA testers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure timely project delivery.
• Mentorship & Leadership: Guiding junior developers on the team and assisting colleagues when technical hurdles arise.

Qualifications:

Common

• Strong fundamentals of software development and computer sciences.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language.

Back-end

• Strong understanding of relational databases.
• Basic knowledge of non-relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure.
