You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy hands-on development, solving complex production issues, improving performance and reliability, and contributing to operational excellence across a business-critical platform.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, maintain, and support enterprise applications, scalable web applications, REST APIs, and system integrations.

  • Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into secure, reliable, and maintainable technical solutions.

  • Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and technical planning while contributing to application modernization and digital transformation initiatives.

  • Troubleshoot production issues, support releases and deployments, and implement sustainable solutions that improve system reliability and performance.

  • Drive automation, engineering best practices, secure software development, and continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle.

  • Mentor team members, provide technical leadership, and collaborate with global teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

  • Leverage AI-powered development tools to accelerate development, testing, debugging, documentation, code reviews, and overall developer productivity.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, with 6-12+ years of enterprise software development experience.

  • Strong hands-on coding experience with C# and .NET technologies.

  • Experience building, maintaining, and supporting APIs in enterprise environments.

  • Hands-on experience developing websites and web applications using modern web technologies.

  • Strong SQL Server programming skills, including query optimization, stored procedures, performance tuning, and database troubleshooting.

  • Experience diagnosing and resolving production issues in complex, business-critical environments.

  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.

  • Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, scalability, reliability, and performance best practices.

  • Experience using AI-assisted coding tools to improve developer productivity, software quality, and delivery speed.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with large-scale, business-critical platforms.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure would be an asset.

  • Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, monitoring, and observability tools.

  • Experience within financial services, capital markets, fintech, or another regulated industry.

This position will be located in Toronto and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
