About this role
You'll help build and engage Coursera's global learner community across organic social channels, sitting at the intersection of social strategy, audience engagement, learner advocacy, and brand storytelling. Rather than managing reactions alone, you'll develop proactive engagement approaches that increase Coursera's visibility, strengthen learner relationships, and surface insights that inform social content and broader marketing strategy. You'll partner closely with Social, Brand, Content, Learner Support, PR/Comms, and external agency partners to ensure Coursera shows up with a timely, thoughtful, and learner-centered voice. You'll also identify learners with compelling stories, build a pipeline for follow-up, and help translate community conversations into content opportunities, testimonials, and strategic insights.

- Track and report on community engagement, proactive outreach, learner story sourcing, sentiment, and recurring themes to measure impact and inform ongoing strategy
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in community management across major social platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Threads, Reddit, or X
- Experience using social media management, social listening, or reporting tools to monitor engagement, sentiment, and audience trends, and to source customer stories for marketing purposes
