About this Shopify Administrator role at Hireframe
We are seeking an experienced Shopify Administrator / E-Commerce Store Manager to help launch, manage, and optimize its online store. This role is ideal for someone who can take ownership of the Shopify environment with minimal oversight. The immediate priority is getting the e-commerce store fully operational, including payments, product setup, inventory, SEO, metadata, and other foundational store requirements.
We are looking for someone who can identify what needs to be done and execute without requiring detailed instructions for every step.
Duties and Responsibilities
● Set up, configure, and maintain the Shopify store
● Support the initial launch and ongoing management of the e-commerce site
● Configure payment and store settings
● Upload and maintain products, images, descriptions, pricing, and inventory
● Maintain accurate product and inventory information
● Set up and optimize URLs, metadata, and other foundational SEO elements
● Support SEO and AEO optimization across the e-commerce site
● Research and assist with operational requirements needed to successfully run the online store
● Troubleshoot Shopify issues and independently research solutions
● Maintain quality control across product pages, imagery, pricing, and store information
● Recommend improvements to the store's layout, customer experience, and overall presentation
● Work closely with the founder while independently managing day-to-day e-commerce need
Requirements
● Hands-on experience managing or administering Shopify stores
● Previous e-commerce experience, preferably with fashion, apparel, lifestyle, retail, or another consumer brand
● Experience with product uploads, inventory management, payment configuration, and store maintenance
● Understanding of e-commerce SEO, URLs, metadata, and website optimization
● Strong attention to detail and quality control
● Strong research and problem-solving skills
● Good visual judgment and an understanding of e-commerce aesthetics
● Ability to learn unfamiliar systems and requirements independently
● Strong English communication and comprehension skills
● Experience with analytics, creative tools, or AI-powered e-commerce tools is a plus
