Our brand-new custom built Truckstops site in Ruakura, Hamilton is now open, purpose-designed to deliver faster, better service for our truck customers. With two dedicated COF lanes and three fully equipped service pits and 14 repair bays, this modern facility gives our team the space and tools to work efficiently and deliver the high-quality workmanship we’re known for.

About the Role

We’re looking for an additional experienced and motivated Service Foreman to help lead this growing team. This is a rare chance to step into a leadership role at a state-of-the-art workshop and help shape the culture and performance of a brand-new site.

You'll take charge of daily workshop operations, overseeing high-quality servicing and repairs across industry-leading Hino, Mack, Volvo and UD trucks. Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring top-tier service delivery in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, every day.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a team of diesel technicians and apprentices
  • Allocate jobs and manage daily workshop scheduling
  • Ensure repair and maintenance work is completed to manufacturer standards
  • Provide technical guidance and hands-on assistance as needed
  • Uphold health, safety, and compliance standards at all times
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams

What We’re Looking For

  • Trade qualification in automotive diesel or heavy vehicles
  • Proven experience in a leadership or senior technician role
  • Strong knowledge of heavy commercial trucks and diagnostics
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Ability to lead by example in a busy, team-driven environment
