Position overview
As a Senior Supply Planner, North America, you will develop and lead supply plans that balance demand, inventory, service levels, and supply constraints across the North American business. Working closely with global and regional stakeholders, you will use data and insights to identify risks, inform business decisions, and ensure effective planning processes are in place to support key business objectives.
You will partner cross-functionally with Finance, Technology, Product, Demand Planning, Inventory Management, Fulfillment Operations, and Commercial teams to drive an integrated approach to demand and supply planning. While North America will be your primary focus, you may also support cross-regional planning initiatives and help drive global process standardization as the business evolves.
This is an opportunity to join a collaborative, high-impact team and help strengthen supply planning capabilities, improve operational efficiency, and drive meaningful business results.
This position is onsite 3 days per week in our Seattle office.
What You'll Do
- Own and develop North America supply and buy plans at the SKU/part level, using demand forecasts, on-hand inventory, safety stock requirements, lead times, and market-related factors.
- Translate demand plans into actionable supply recommendations that balance service levels, inventory targets, capacity constraints, and business priorities.
- Identify and communicate supply challenges, partnering with factory liaisons and cross-functional stakeholders to mitigate risks and maintain continuity of supply.
- Resolve and maintain item-level safety stock strategies, adjusting for seasonality, lifecycle stage, demand variability, and changing business needs.
- Actively participate in monthly IBP and S&OP processes by preparing insights, validating demand assumptions, reviewing supply risks, and recommending actions.
- Support and lead new product introductions, product transitions, and lifecycle planning activities.
- Provide data-driven analysis and recommendations to support SKU rationalization activities.
- Monitor and meet or exceed key performance indicators, including inventory-to-sales ratio, active versus non-active inventory, days of supply, service levels, and related supply chain metrics.
- Support cross-regional planning needs as required, partnering with global and regional teams to align supply strategies and share best practices.
- Help define, implement, and standardize planning processes, tools, and best practices across the organization.
- Support company and brand initiatives by contributing to broader business goals, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
Who You Are
- A data-driven planner with strong analytical skills, business curiosity, and the ability to translate insights into practical supply planning decisions.
- Customer-focused, with a strong understanding of how supply, inventory, service levels, and execution impact the broader business.
- A clear and confident communicator who can present insights, risks, recommendations, and planning updates to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Organized, resilient, and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity.
- Collaborative and influential, with the ability to build strong partnerships across functions, regions, cultures, and time zones.
- Self-directed and proactive, with the ability to run multiple priorities, make sound decisions, and drive work forward in a fast-paced environment.
- Process- and metrics-oriented, with a continuous improvement mindset and a focus on reducing non-value-added work.
- Comfortable balancing data, business judgment, and stakeholder input to develop recommendations and solve supply planning challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Mathematics, Business, or a related quantitative discipline.
- 5+ years of progressive planning experience, preferably within consumer products or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of planning concepts, inventory management, supply planning principles, and best practices.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with Oracle, SQL, Kinaxis or similar supply planning applications preferred.
- Ability to support capacity planning by analyzing demand, supply availability, and operational constraints preferred.
- Experience supporting cross-regional planning, global supply planning processes, or multi-market supply chain operations preferred.
