The Senior Product Owner (Technology) is responsible for defining, managing, and driving the strategic direction, roadmap, and delivery of complex technology products, platforms, and services that support critical business objectives. This role serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams and external partners to ensure alignment between organizational priorities and technology investments.
The Senior Product Owner leads product strategy execution across products, balancing customer value, operational efficiency, technical sustainability, and business outcomes. The role owns product roadmaps, drives prioritization decisions, manages dependencies across teams while ensuring successful delivery of high-quality solutions.
Key responsibilities:
Owning, driving the strategic roadmap and prioritizing the backlog for our Mainframe area
Ensuring that business needs are translated into clear requirements Lead prioritization decisions, balancing customer needs, regulatory requirements and operational demands
Communicate roadmap status, risks, and strategic recommendations to leadership audiences.
Lead relationships with strategic vendors, outsourced development partners, and third-party technology providers.
Monitor performance against delivery commitments, service levels, quality standards, and business outcomes.
Work closely with both business and technology, playing a central role in making sure they function effectively together
Shape and develop how we work with the outsourced development team Mentor and provide guidance to Product Owners and delivery teams.

Essential skills and/or certifications:
Degree holder with major in Technology or related disciplines.
At least 8 years of experience in technology product ownership, software development, systems analysis, or related technology disciplines.
Proven experience working with complex requirements, backlog, or product ownership
Strong understanding of Mainframe environments, having Cobol experience is a plus
Experience managing outsourced development teams, strategic vendors, and global delivery models.
Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
Both insightful and pragmatic, with strong problem-solving skills and comprehension of what is actually “do-able”
Ability to work well with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and bridge the communication gap between the two groups
Structured and decisive, comfortable taking responsibility and driving issues forward
Analytical capabilities, results oriented, with proven ability to manage workload and prioritize
Excellent communication, project management and presentation skill Independent, detailed mind and a good team player
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite skills
