As Senior Product Manager, Digital Finance, you will own high-impact digital products that sit at the intersection of finance, artificial intelligence, and enterprise transformation. You will lead product strategy from discovery through delivery, influence cross-functional teams without formal authority, and drive measurable business outcomes across a global user base.

You will help define how artificial intelligence, agentic workflows, and emerging technologies are embedded into Digital Finance solutions used across Novartis. Working closely with engineering, product design, and data teams, you will guide the development of intelligent products - where correctness and user trust are non-negotiable- that simplify decision-making, unlock productivity, and drive adoption at scale.

You combine strategic thinking with execution excellence, bring strong technical curiosity, and drive measurable AI product outcomes. This is an opportunity to own highly visible products, influence product management practices across the organization, and help define the next generation of Digital Finance experiences. Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Own the strategy and roadmap for high-impact Digital Finance products with enterprise-wide visibility and reach.
• Lead product delivery from discovery through launch, adoption; establish success metrics and monitor adoption, engagement, and business impact to drive continuous improvement.
• Shape how Artificial Intelligence, agents, and emerging technologies are embedded into product experiences.
• Drive product decisions using customer insights, data, experimentation, and measurable business outcomes.
• Make tough prioritization calls on what to build, integrate, or stop- and defend them with data.Partner closely with engineering, design, and data teams to deliver innovative and scalable solutions.
• Influence stakeholders across Finance, Digital, and Business functions to align priorities and outcomes.
• Champion Artificial Intelligence product thinking and elevate product management capabilities across the team.
• Translate complex business challenges into clear product requirements and solution opportunities.
• Role model a culture of experimentation and continuous learning; elevate AI product thinking and PM capabilities across your peer team..

Essential Requirements

• Significant product management experience leading digital products from strategy through ; proven track record of owning measurable outcomes you defined and delivered. Proven ownership of complex product domains with broad organizational reach and business impact.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of modern product management principles, customer discovery, and outcome-based delivery; demonstrated ability to use data and evidence to drive decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage both product delivery and operational performance; experience monitoring post-launch metrics and driving continuous improvements at scale.
• Experience shaping or delivering Artificial Intelligence-powered, Generative Artificial Intelligence, or agentic product capabilities ; understanding of quality evaluation, risk mitigation, and responsible AI deployment in enterprise contexts.
• Strong technical curiosity with the ability to engage credibly with engineering and technology teams.
• Experience building products within enterprise software, analytics, decision-support, or technology-driven environments.
• Excellent communication skills with fluent English and the ability to engage diverse global audiences.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience partnering closely with data science teams to deliver AI and ML solutions; hands-on experience shipping AI-powered features and understanding responsible AI principles (auditability, risk controls, human-in-the-loop design).
• Product certifications such as PSPO, SAFe POPM, or advanced product leadership programs; data/AI certifications (cloud AI fundamentals, analytics); or non-linear background (engineering, data science, business) with strong product judgment.

Expected Annual Base Salary Range for role:  59,100 – 109,700 EUR gross.

The base salary offered is determined based on gender-neutral objectives, such as relevant skills, competencies and experience in accordance with the Novartis pay setting policy and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically.

In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for a performance-based bonus depending on certain performance parameters.
