About this Senior Product Designer, Mobile role at Mudflap

Mudflap · Hybrid · Palo Alto, CA

At Mudflap, we're modernizing the $1 trillion trucking industry, the backbone of the U.S. economy. By helping over 100,000 underserved small businesses save over $1.5 billion on fuel, Mudflap has quickly grown into a profitable fintech platform that processes billions in annual payment volume.

Trucking keeps nearly everything around us moving, but the technology built for the people behind it hasn’t always kept up. Mudflap is changing that.

We’re scaling quickly and expanding how technology shows up in the everyday lives of truckers and small fleet owners. As a Senior Product Designer, Mobile, you’ll help make that technology incredibly simple, intuitive, and useful for people running businesses from the road.

You’ll own end-to-end design for native iOS and Android experiences, turning complex problems into products that feel easy to use. You’ll work closely with Product and Engineering, stay close to our customers, and move quickly from insight to execution.

Design has a high degree of internal agency at Mudflap. We expect our designers to do more than execute against a roadmap, they’re trusted to uncover opportunities, challenge assumptions, bring a strong point of view, and help shape what we build and why. We’re looking for someone who is hungry, curious, and energized by pace, someone who wants to ship, learn, iterate, and keep raising the bar as we scale.

  • Shape Our Mobile Experience
Influence the strategy and evolution of Mudflap's iOS and Android apps, raising the bar for simplicity, usability, and visual craft.

  • Move Fast & Ship
Own the design process end to end, from research and prototyping through execution, iteration, and launch, balancing exceptional craft with speed.
