Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Lead the implementation, governance and continuous improvement of Quality and HSE Management Systems across Brazil and Southern Cone, ensuring compliance with applicable legal requirements, ISO standards and GEA Group Q&HSE requirements.
  • Act as the regional QHSE lead for sales, service, repair, logistics, warehouse, projects and associated facilities, ensuring consistent standards, risk control and operational compliance across the organization.
  • Define, coordinate and monitor QHSE audit, inspection and legal compliance programs, driving corrective actions, risk mitigation and continual improvement.
  • Lead the Integrated Management System for regional sites, ensuring effective implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements.
  • Manage regional QHSE resources, mandatory HSE training programs, risk registers, procedures and reporting routines in alignment with corporate governance and business priorities.
  • Oversee incident, accident and near-miss management processes, including investigations, lessons learned and compliance with notification process.
  • Drive regional standardization, collaboration and alignment among QHSE teams in Brazil, Argentina and Chile, ensuring consistent application of Quality and HSE standards.
  • Manage Quality assurance processes for projects, suppliers, service providers, resellers and GEA operations, including inspections, audits and process performance monitoring.
  • Lead QHSE improvement initiatives focused on safety culture, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction and performance indicators.

 

 

 

 

Your Profile / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Quality Management, Environmental Sciences, or a related technical field.
  • Postgraduate qualification or specialization in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, Quality Management, Integrated Management Systems, or Safety Engineering is highly desirable.
  • Formal training or certification as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor is required/preferred.
  • NEBOSH International Diploma or equivalent internationally recognized Occupational Health and Safety qualification is considered an advantage.
  • Experience in quality and HSE system regulations and international norms.
  • Management of people and specialized teams - Engineers, technicians, analysts and specialists in HSE and Quality.
  • Experience with implementation of corporate quality and HSE management systems

  • Experienced incident investigator
  • Experienced in delivering HSE related training
  • Experienced in changing culture and HSE cultural change process
  • Familiarity with auditing technics
  • Experienced ISO Manag. Systems representative
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Good knowledge of IT systems Monitors and checks work to meet quality standard .demonstrate a high level of care and thoroughness
  • Deep understanding of business on a broad international scale
  • Acts credible, committed and fair
  • Very good analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically
