As a Senior Manager - Assurance, you will lead and manage client engagements within our Assurance practice, focusing on delivering quality financial statement audits. As a Senior Manager, you will leverage your skills and professional experience to drive project success, providing strategic input and maintaining operational excellence. You will be responsible for building trust with multi-level teams and stakeholders, motivating and coaching teams to solve complex problems, and applying sound judgment in decision-making.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Kuala Lumpur, you will oversee large projects, innovate processes, and interact with clients at a senior level to deliver impactful results. Responsibilities

- Leading external audit engagements and managing client relationships effectively
- Guiding teams in the application of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and Accounting and Financial Reporting Standards
- Utilizing analytical thinking and data analysis to enhance audit quality and insights
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients to identify and address financial reporting challenges
- Developing and overseeing the implementation of auditing methodologies and compliance auditing processes
- Promoting the use of innovative technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) platforms in audit processes
- Confirming data integrity, security, and compliance within financial reporting frameworks
- Identifying opportunities for optimizing audit processes and improving financial performance
- Coaching and motivating teams to solve complex problems and deliver quality outcomes
- Applying systems thinking to navigate complex situations and deliver impactful results

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree in the following field of study: Accounting or Chartered Accountant or equivalent (such as ICAEW / ACCA / MICPA-CAANZ / CPA Australia)
- At least 6 years of experience
- At least one of the following: US Licensed CPA, Malaysian Licensed CPA or CPA/CA Equivalent in another Territory (such as ICAEW / ACCA / MICPA-CAANZ / CPA Australia, etc)
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
