Job Description

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive incentives strategy aligned with AirAsia Group’s short, medium, and long-term network and commercial objectives.

• Spearhead high-level negotiations with airports, government bodies, and tourism authorities, where applicable, to secure incentive schemes, including airport charge discounts, marketing support, and strategic subsidies.

• Cultivate and strengthen strategic relationships with key airport, government, and industry stakeholders, proactively identifying and positioning AirAsia Group for future partnership, network expansion, and commercial opportunities.

• Define and drive the end-to-end incentives roadmap, establishing clear priorities and performance tracking, with periodic reporting to senior leadership.

• Provide strategic input into annual budgeting processes, ensuring alignment between incentives, network growth, and overall commercial targets.

• Own and lead the airport partnership lifecycle, from relationship development and opportunity assessment to deal structuring, contract negotiation, and post-signing integration and optimization.

• Oversee the tracking, analysis, and communication of key commercial and performance metrics, translating insights into actionable strategies to drive growth, optimise returns, and strengthen partnerships.

• Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.

• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders, both internally and externally.

• Proven leadership capabilities with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Ability to balance commercial acumen and operational execution, driving initiatives from concept through to delivery.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

• Proactive, self-driven and results oriented mindset.
   

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Demonstrated track record in structuring, negotiating, and executing complex partnerships or commercial agreements.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop holistic, commercially viable solutions for diverse stakeholders.

• Experience within the aviation or airport ecosystem is highly advantageous.
