About this Senior Design Manager – Menswear role at The Inside Job
THE ROLE.
This is a pivotal leadership role within our Menswear Design team, responsible for driving the creative vision and execution of key product launches, seasonal collections and frequent product drops.
Balancing creativity with commerciality, you'll lead a talented team of designers while working closely with cross-functional partners to deliver innovative, consumer-centric product at pace, without ever compromising on quality or craft.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING.
- Leading the design and delivery of Menswear collections across multiple product launches and seasonal drops.
- Translating creative direction into compelling product stories and commercially successful collections.
- Researching athlete, consumer and market trends to identify future product opportunities.
- Managing and developing a team of designers, fostering creativity, growth and high performance.
- Partnering closely with Product Development, Merchandising, Materials and Sourcing teams to bring concepts to life.
- Maintaining exceptional design standards across a high volume of product output.
- Presenting concepts, collections and seasonal strategies to senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Ensuring products are delivered on time, with the right balance of innovation, commercial relevance and brand authenticity.
- Acting as a key creative partner to the Head of Design, supporting the continued evolution of Gymshark Menswear.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED.
- Significant experience within apparel design, ideally in sportswear, activewear or fashion.
- Strong leadership experience with a proven ability to mentor and develop creative teams.
- Deep understanding of menswear product design, trends, fit and consumer needs.
- Strong commercial awareness alongside exceptional creative instincts.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume product environment.
- Experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams throughout the product creation journey.
This is a hybrid role and requires the successful candidate to attend at least THREE days a week in GSIQ, Solihull, UK.
