Role Summary

As a Senior Credit Analyst, you will support lending teams across the globe by delivering high-quality credit analysis, covenant monitoring, risk assessments, and reporting. You will leverage your expertise in financial statement analysis and corporate lending to identify risks, support decision-making, and help maintain a strong and sustainable loan portfolio.

This role offers broad exposure to a wide range of industries, clients, and lending products within Wholesale Banking.

About the Team

You will join a high-profile and growing team that supports ING Wholesale Banking globally. Working closely with colleagues across multiple countries and business lines, you will help drive consistent credit practices and support lending activities for corporate clients, real estate businesses, financial institutions, and other sectors.

Required Skills and Experience

We're looking for someone who brings:

• More than 5 years of experience in corporate or institutional lending, credit analysis, or related financial services roles.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, including Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.
• Experience monitoring loan covenants, performing financial spreading, conducting credit reviews, and assessing risk ratings.
• Ability to analyze public and private company financials and identify key risk drivers.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field. Candidates from other disciplines with strong accounting knowledge are also encouraged to apply.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across different countries and cultures.
