Requirements
Mission of the role Deliver high-quality audit and assurance services to clients while exceeding their expectations through technical excellence, speed, and clear communication.
Key outcomes in the first 6–12 months
- Outcome 1: Independent Audit Execution
- Independently plan, execute, and complete end-to-end audit assignments for a portfolio of international and local client accounts within target timelines.
- Outcome 2: Audit Reporting & Financial Statements
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports and financial statements in strict accordance with SME-FRF / SME-FRS standards.
- Outcome 3: Tax Filing & Regulatory Compliance
- Accurately prepare and review tax computations and profits tax returns for clients to ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Outcome 4: Deadline & Workflow Ownership
- Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously under tight deadlines, ensuring data accuracy and proactive issue resolution.
Must-have experience
- Minimum 2 years of solid audit experience within a professional accounting or audit firm.
- Prior experience working with Big 4 firms or mid-tier equivalents is highly preferred.
- Passed CPA professional qualification exams (HKICPA, CPA Australia, ACCA, CICPA, or equivalent recognized qualification) is strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience in preparing audit files and reports using SME-FRF / SME-FRS standards.
- Proven track record of managing end-to-end audit assignments independently and handling client queries directly.

The interview process The successful candidate will participate in the following interview stages. We anticipate the process to last no more than 3 weeks from start to finish.
- One-way Video Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a one-way video interview to evaluate communication skills and key background details early in the process.
- Technical Round: A 30-minute technical evaluation with the Audit Hiring Team and a 30-minute interview with the Audit Partner, focusing on your knowledge of SME-FRS standards, audit procedures, tax computations, and case scenarios.
- Soft Skills Round: A 45-to-60-minute interview with a member of leadership to explore your work style, structured thinking, and alignment with Sleek’s core behavioral values.
- Reference Verification: Prior to final offer confirmation, we will conduct professional reference checks with your recent direct manager or supervisor.
Requirement for background screening Please be aware that Sleek is a regulated entity and as such is required to perform different levels of background checks on staff depending on their role. This may include using external vendors to verify:
- Your education
- Any criminal history
- Any political exposure
- Any bankruptcy or adverse credit history We will ask for your consent before conducting these checks.
