RSM's Brisbane Restructuring & Recovery team is seeking a motivated and commercially minded Senior Analyst to join our growing practice. This is an opportunity to work on a diverse range of corporate and personal insolvency engagements, business restructures, and turnaround matters while building your technical expertise alongside experienced industry professionals.
You'll play a key role in delivering quality outcomes for clients and stakeholders, taking ownership of engagements, mentoring junior team members, and developing specialist skills through ongoing professional development.
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage and assist with small to medium insolvency engagements from planning through to completion
- Conduct investigations into the affairs of companies and individuals
- Prepare ASIC reports, statutory forms and regulatory documentation
- Draft and review day-one correspondence, investigation letters and authority documents
- Assist with director and bankrupt interviews
- Prepare reports to creditors, including financial and commercial analysis
- Support business trading engagements, preparing budgets, forecasts and cash flow models
- Prepare letters of demand and other stakeholder communications
- Liaise with lawyers, agents, auctioneers, creditors and other key stakeholders
- Act as a primary point of contact across engagements
- Review and mentor the work of Graduates and junior team members
- Research and resolve complex technical and compliance matters
About you:
Essential
- 2-4 years' experience in insolvency, restructuring, recovery or a related field
- Degree in Business, Commerce (Accounting major) or Law with an interest in Insolvency
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment
Highly Regarded
- Completion or near completion of CA, CPA or equivalent qualification
- Commencement of the ARITA Insolvency Education Program
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Confidence building and maintaining professional networks and relationships
