The candidate must have practical exposure to both Salesforce development and administration to assess change impacts, support troubleshooting, coordinate releases, and improve delivery processes across development, QA, UAT, and production environments.

Key Responsibilities

·     Plan release scope, deployment schedules, prerequisites, validation activities, and post-deployment checks.

·     Manage metadata deployments using approved Salesforce deployment and DevOps tools.

·     Maintain version control practices, branching standards, pull requests, merge coordination, and release tagging.

·     Identify deployment dependencies, metadata conflicts, test failures, and environment-specific issues.

·     Coordinate rollback planning and support recovery activities when required.

Process Analysis & Governance

·     Assess the existing software delivery lifecycle and recommend improvements to release, testing, approval, and support processes.

·     Define and maintain release checklists, operating procedures, governance controls, and delivery documentation.

·     Track change requests, approvals, risks, dependencies, defects, and release readiness.

·     Support compliance, audit evidence, segregation-of-duties, and controlled change-management requirements.

·     Monitor delivery metrics and identify recurring bottlenecks, manual activities, and automation opportunities.

Developer & Administrator Support

·     Collaborate with Salesforce developers to review metadata dependencies involving Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura components, triggers, test classes, integrations, and configuration.

·     Collaborate with Salesforce administrators on objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, Flow, profiles, permission sets, reports, dashboards, and sharing settings.

·     Perform initial analysis of deployment errors, test failures, user-access issues, data issues, and configuration defects.

·     Support minor configuration changes and technical validations within approved access and change controls.

·     Ensure required test coverage, deployment validation, peer review, and documentation are completed before release.

Environment & Configuration Management

·     Coordinate sandbox refreshes, environment alignment, access readiness, and post-refresh configuration activities.

·     Maintain environment inventories, deployment records, release calendars, and configuration baselines.

·     Coordinate updates to endpoints, credentials, connected applications, integration settings, and scheduled jobs following environment changes.

·     Help prevent configuration drift by comparing environments and promoting changes through controlled pipelines.

Testing, Support & Stakeholder Coordination

·     Partner with business analysts, developers, administrators, QA, support, and product teams throughout the release lifecycle.

·     Support test planning, defect triage, regression testing, UAT coordination, and production validation.

·     Communicate release status, risks, dependencies, implementation outcomes, and issues to stakeholders.

·     Provide production support for release-related incidents and facilitate root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

·     Maintain knowledge articles and reusable troubleshooting guidance for common deployment and process issues.

Required Qualifications

·     Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

·     Minimum 3+ years of experience in Salesforce DevOps, release management, Salesforce administration, development support, or process analysis.

·     Hands-on exposure to Salesforce development concepts, including Apex, test classes, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, Aura, integrations, and deployment dependencies.

·     Hands-on exposure to Salesforce administration, including objects, fields, security, Flow, validation rules, reports, dashboards, and data management.

·     Experience with Git-based version control, branching, pull requests, merge conflict resolution, and code-review workflows.

·     Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

·     Salesforce Certified Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I, or Salesforce DevOps-related certification.

·     Experience supporting enterprise or financial-services Salesforce environments.

·     Knowledge of CI/CD automation, static code analysis, quality gates, and automated testing practices.

·     Familiarity with Salesforce APIs, integration middleware, connected apps, OAuth, and credential-management processes.
