ABOUT THE JOB
We are seeking a Salesforce Administrator to support, maintain, and enhance the Salesforce platform as business needs evolve. This role will partner with business stakeholders to improve processes, configure practical solutions, support users, maintain data quality, and help ensure the platform operates efficiently and securely. The ideal candidate is an administrator early in their Salesforce career with 1–3 years of Salesforce Administration experience, holds multiple Salesforce certifications, and brings curiosity, accountability, and a strong desire to continue learning and growing within the Salesforce ecosystem.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Salesforce Administration, Configuration & System Maintenance
- Administer and maintain the Salesforce platform, including user setup, profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing rules, and security settings.
- Configure and support Salesforce functionality, including custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, approval processes, and Flow automations.
- Monitor platform health, troubleshoot configuration, integration, and performance issues, and resolve user-reported defects in a timely manner.
- Assist with Salesforce releases, updates, sandbox management, and deployment activities to ensure smooth and reliable system operation.
- Ensure Salesforce configurations align with established governance, security, scalability, and platform best practices.
User Support, Training & Documentation
- Serve as the team’s initial point of contact for Salesforce user questions, support requests, and enhancement ideas.
- Provide end-user support and troubleshooting to improve system adoption, productivity, and user experience.
- Develop, maintain, and update user guides, training materials, knowledge articles, release notes, and support documentation.
- Support onboarding and training of new users and provide guidance regarding Salesforce capabilities and best practices.
Reporting, Analytics & Data Quality
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics that provide actionable insights for business stakeholders.
- Perform regular data quality reviews, audits, validation checks, deduplication efforts, and other activities to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Support data imports, exports, mass updates, and data maintenance activities using approved tools and processes.
- Partner with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and deliver meaningful business metrics and operational insights.
Business Process Improvement & Automation
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business processes, gather requirements, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Translate business needs into Salesforce configuration changes, workflow enhancements, and declarative automation solutions.
- Identify recurring issues, inefficiencies, or manual processes and recommend solutions that improve operational effectiveness and user experience.
Testing, Release Management & Governance
- Participate in testing, quality assurance, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation of new functionality, enhancements, and system changes.
- Support change management and release management processes by documenting, testing, and deploying configuration changes.
- Maintain system, process, configuration, and support documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and operational continuity.
- Support security reviews, audits, compliance initiatives, and governance activities as required.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Partner with Lead System Administrator, Solutions Engineers, Developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to support Salesforce enhancements and ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Stay current on Salesforce releases, new features, certifications, and industry best practices, and recommend platform improvements when appropriate.
- Contribute to the ongoing optimization of the Salesforce platform by identifying opportunities to improve performance, usability, security, and scalability.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field and 1-3 years hands-on experience supporting business users as a Salesforce Administrator, with strong knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud with Omni-Channel, Lightning Experience, Flows, and complex reporting and dashboards; familiarity with LWCs, Apex, SOQL, and triggers preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Salesforce Administrator certification required; additional certifications strongly preferred.
DESIRED ATTRIBUTES

Pay Range: $75,000 - $90,000/yr
