Requirements

As a Sales Lead - Bank Finance Software Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic client engagement and accelerating the adoption of SAP Fioneer’s finance solutions across the banking industry. Leveraging your deep expertise in bank finance, risk, and regulatory transformation, you will work closely with sales, product, and delivery teams to develop client-centric strategies, create new revenue opportunities, and deliver measurable business outcomes for financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Build and strengthen strategic relationships with banks, financial institutions, and key industry stakeholders.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities aligned with SAP Fioneer’s Bank Finance portfolio.
• Develop a deep understanding of client challenges related to finance transformation, regulatory reporting, accounting, profitability management, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and present tailored solution strategies and compelling business cases.
• Lead complex sales cycles, including executive-level presentations, workshops, demonstrations, and commercial negotiations.
• Engage with C-level executives and senior business leaders to position SAP Fioneer as a trusted strategic partner.
• Partner with product and delivery teams to ensure seamless transitions from sales to implementation and long-term customer success.
• Contribute to market development initiatives, industry events, and thought leadership activities to increase SAP Fioneer’s visibility within the banking sector. 

Preferred Experience: 

• Experience working with Bank Finance solutions such as SAP FPSL (Financial Products Subledger), Accounting Hub, Regulatory Reporting, Profitability & Performance Management, or Finance Transformation programs.
• Established network within the banking and financial services industry.
• Experience working in a fast-growing software, fintech, or financial services technology organization. 

Qualifications: 

• 10+ years of experience in banking finance, financial management, regulatory reporting, performance management, or related enterprise software solutions.
• Proven track record of successfully selling complex software or consulting solutions to banks and financial institutions.
• Strong understanding of banking finance processes, including financial accounting, regulatory reporting, profitability and performance management, and finance transformation initiatives.
• Experience with SAP-based banking solutions, financial services software, or comparable enterprise platforms is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and engage effectively with senior executives and decision-makers.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify client needs and translate them into scalable business opportunities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated and comfortable operating in an international, remote, or hybrid working environment.
• Fluent in Japanese and Advanced English
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced qualifications are advantageous.
