Overview         

We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Rolling Stock Team Lead to lead our Rail Services team in Australia. In this pivotal leadership role, you will be responsible for managing a team of highly skilled engineering professionals and delivering innovative, high-quality rollingstock consultancy services to clients across the rail sector. Working closely with national and international stakeholders, you will oversee the successful delivery of complex engineering projects, drive business growth opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and contribute to the ongoing development of our rail capability. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of rail mobility while leveraging the global expertise, technology, and resources of AtkinsRéalis.

Your role

• Manage all aspects of relevant consultancy assignments undertaken for clients in Australia including allocation, estimating, tendering, planning, execution and close out.
• Prepare responses to ‘Requests for Tender’ and other bidding opportunities.
• Develop innovative ideas which deliver service and product growth, client satisfaction improvement or operational performance improvement.
• Develop business plans in support of the identified ideas and champion their development and implementation.
• Ensure that work is completed in a safe and profitable manner, on time, to budget and to the client's satisfaction.
• Ensure that all work is undertaken in accordance with AtkinsRealis’s procedures, corporate requirements, and systems, including the Quality Management System and the Safety Management System.
• Provide guidance and expertise in Rail Vehicle Services.

About you

• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
• Rail Vehicle Services assignment opportunities will integrate with AtkinsRealis’s broad spectrum of railway disciplines, and requires a flexible, self-motivated, confident and professional approach.
