The Retirement Consultant – Roll In drives the consolidation of retirement assets into proprietary employer-sponsored retirement plans by serving as a single point of contact, educator, and consultant for individual customers throughout the rollover, exchange, and transfer process. The Consultant independently manages a book of business and supports positive customer outcomes by scheduling customer meetings, coordinating conference calls with contra firms and customers, and providing individualized education and support throughout the asset consolidation process.

The Consultant manages a high volume of scheduled meetings, inbound and outbound calls, and email correspondence while remaining available for real-time warm handoffs of newly generated leads from call centers. The Consultant assists customers with rollovers, exchanges, and transfers to help ensure transactions are completed accurately by both the contra firm and Empower.

What You Will Do

  • Place outbound calls to and handle inbound calls from participants with the objective of consolidating retirement savings into employer-sponsored retirement plans with Empower.
  • Educate customers on retirement investment vehicles, including 401(k), 403(b), 457(b), 401(a), and Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs).
  • Provide individualized education and support throughout rollover, exchange, and transfer transactions.
  • Manage rollover relationships from opportunity handoff through completion, supporting participant engagement, satisfaction, and loyalty.
  • Coordinate conference calls and transaction requirements with customers and contra firms.
  • Manage a high volume of scheduled meetings, inbound and outbound calls, email correspondence, and real-time warm lead handoffs.
  • Provide service and support for the administration of the rollover process and develop solutions for unique customer situations.
  • Request educational and marketing materials for participants as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members toward shared performance and customer service objectives.
  • Perform effectively in a fast-paced, performance-oriented call center environment.

What You Will Bring

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial services.
  • Ability to work within a flexible call center schedule and environment.
  • FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 registrations required within established timelines.
  • FINRA fingerprinting required.
