As a Resident Control Field Service Engineer, you will play a vital role onsite with our customers. Leading the operation and maintenance activities of an operating LNG facility, you will work with customers to troubleshoot issues and ensure safe and compliant operation, installations and or start up.
As a Control Field Service Engineer you will be responsible for:
Providing technical direction for activities to internal teams and skilled labour to ensure safety, compliance, and quality of deliverables
Providing Technical Support to the Customer operation of asset and improve reliability
Overseeing, overhaul, troubleshooting and commissioning of our rotating equipment’s and products at customer sites
Preparing and updating technical documentation, plans, daily and weekly briefing reports for customers and internal cross-functional teams
Ensuring internal training, compliance and quality documentation is updated, followed, and completed according to company standards
Properly manage company digital tools to retrieve technical documents and management of packing list, bill of material and drawings
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
From 7 to 10 years of experience in LNG facility operation and maintenance
Solid understanding of the design and operating philosophy of aeroderivative gas turbines (LM2500 or LM6000), centrifugal compressors, and/or their control and electrical systems.
Strong knowledge of Baker Hughes product-specific rotating equipment Control Systems (MKVI, MKVIes) maintenance and operation.
Knowledge of HIMA, Opticom, CCC is preferred but not essential
Electrical Technical degree, Engineering degree or Certificate IV with suitable experience in Control Systems
Display a strong customer service-orientation mindset, experienced leading customers through tough decisions
Be skilled at communicating complex technical information to customers and teams with varying levels of technical understanding
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
Be ready to relocate to reside permanently in Gladstone (QLD)
