About this RAM Engineer role at Quality People
Our client URGENTLY requires a RAM Engineer for 10 months + Contract in Canberra.
As a RAM (Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability) Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of systems and solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services, and you will be responsible for analysing system designs, identifying potential risks, and implementing strategies to optimise reliability and maintainability.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct reliability analysis and failure prediction assessments for vessel propulsion systems, mechanical systems, electrical systems, mission systems, and amphibious vehicle subsystems.
- Develop, maintain, and optimise reliability and availability models, considering maintenance strategies, spares provisioning, deployment cycles, and sustainment requirements.
- Integrate RAM requirements and analyses into vessel, vehicle, mission system, and combat system designs and associated engineering activities.
- Conduct investigations into equipment failures and performance issues, identifying recurring failure modes, maintenance bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
Must have (minimum) NV1 security clearance.
