About this Safety and Certification Engineer role at Quality People
Our client URGENTLY requires a Safety and Certification Engineer for 7 months + Contract in Canberra.
The Safety and Certification SME will assist development of the program's safety and certification framework, compliance strategy, technical assurance activities and engineering planning supporting Combined Pass approval activities. You will provide specialist advice across system certification, multi-domain regulatory compliance, explosive ordnance safety and certification, transport certification, Defence, and government certification requirements.
Skills & Responsibilities include:
- Experience in Systems and Software Engineering - Safety Management
- Demonstrated expertise in Safety and Certification, System Safety Engineering, and Technical Certification.
- Develop and maintain the System Safety and Certification Plan (SSCP), the Technical Certification Plan (TCP), relevant Certification Registers, Compliance Registers and certification evidence tracking mechanisms.
- Lead regulatory and certification gap analysis activities to identify compliance obligations and certification requirements.
Must have (minimum) NV1 security clearance.
