We are seeking a Python Developer with strong automation experience to develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on Python development experience, expertise with GitHub and Jenkins, and the ability to collaborate effectively in an Agile environment while delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop, debug, and maintain Python-based automation scripts and applications.
- Refactor existing Python scripts to align with enterprise automation standards and evolving business requirements.
- Design and build scalable, flexible, and maintainable automation frameworks using Python.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines.
- Utilize GitHub and JIRA to manage work, track issues, and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Improve test coverage, enhance release velocity, and support production stability through automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Experience
- 4 to 6 years of overall professional experience.
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on Python development experience.
- Strong expertise with GitHub and Jenkins.
- Experience using JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Candidates must have lived in the United States for at least 3 of the past 5 years.
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting federal government projects, preferably CMS programs.
- Exposure to or understanding of mainframe systems.
Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
