The opportunity

How you’ll make an impact
1.You will have good understanding and experience with high voltage protection and control system engineering design including schematics preparation, review of engineering documents, protection relay configuration, testing commissioning/ troubleshooting.
2.You will be responsible on substation primary equipment & basic protection functions is must. Power system, substation and MV/HV switchgear knowledge is an advantage, familiarity with substation automation systems, Remote Terminal Unit (RTU), Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Gateways are desirable.
3.You will be conversant with design tools like e-CAD or equivalent for substation layouts, cable schedules, wiring and termination charts.
4.You will act as the champion for Hitachi Energy processes and policies, contributes to development of standard processes and work instructions by adopting Hitachi internal as well as industry best practices.
5.You will ensure lessons learned from all execution are analyzed and conclusions are incorporated as continuous improvement actions.
6.You will promote and enforces safe working environment by enforcing and supporting adequate HSE measures in all activities undertaken by himself & the team, follows ethics and compliances as per company guidelines.
7.You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
1.You hold bachelor’s degree, preferable in Engineering Major in Electrical or Automation Control or similar field
2.Minimum 1 years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering domain (protection related will be nice to have).
3.Good verbal and written communication skills are essential, proven ability to handle customer comments and approval responses to support project manager in project engineering is a must.
4.Native/Business level Japanese.
5.Proficiency in both Spoken and Written English is nice to have.
