We're seeking an experienced Project Learning & Development Lead to join our People Development team and play a critical role in the success of a key operational project.


About the Role

As the Project Learning & Development Lead, you will lead the design, delivery and implementation of learning strategies that support major business, system and process change initiatives. Working closely with project teams, leaders and business stakeholders, you'll ensure our people are equipped, confident and ready to adopt new ways of working.


Reporting to the Group Learning & Development Manager, you'll lead a team of four Project Trainers while providing learning and development expertise for a project that will look to build and leverage our digital and technological capabilities for our frontline teams and our members.


This role is available for an immediate start and will be on an initial 12-13month Maximum term contract.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and deliver project learning strategies that support successful business outcomes.
  • Identify learning needs and capability gaps to ensure employee readiness for change.
  • Design and implement engaging learning solutions across multiple delivery channels.
  • Lead end-to-end training delivery, including planning, scheduling, communications and reporting.
  • Support the adoption of new systems, processes and ways of working through effective learning interventions.
  • Partner with project teams, change managers and stakeholders to align learning solutions with project objectives.
  • Provide leadership, coaching and direction to a team of Project Trainers.
  • Monitor and continuously improve learning programs, technologies and practices to maximise impact.

About You

You'll Bring

  • Significant experience supporting large-scale business, technology, system or transformation projects through learning and capability initiatives.
  • Strong expertise in learning consultancy, training needs analysis and instructional design.
  • Experience developing and delivering learning solutions across multiple delivery modes.
  • Experience administering and leveraging Learning Management Systems.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to coach, develop and motivate others.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Commerce, Psychology or a related discipline (desirable). 
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
